This hammock is not nearly as heavy duty as a standard hammock such as an ENO or Wise Owl. The material seems a lot thinner and it also does not sleep as comfortably as a standard hammock. If you move the least bit off center you feel like the hammock is going to roll over on you. I was just overall not satisfied and Lawson just told me I could cover shipping to return it and they may issue a refund after inspection. I would save your money and buy something else!

Saturday night was a terrific night for camping here in Texas. Lol, we were under a tornado and severe thunderstorm warning, so I decided it would be a great idea to spend the night in the hammock out on the patio! It was extremely windy. it poured rain. I think we got 1.5 inches in just over an hour.. So it rained hard. Granted, the hammock is under a patio. But it was blowing and raining sideways! Not only did the 'hammock' keep me warm and dry.. It was just pleasant. The rain fly prevented any water from entering the hammock.. And even under the patio, the hammock is hung on the edge. There was a lot of wind and a LOT of rain. Reviews aren't my thing, at all. But I took a flyer on this hammock. It looked cool, and at the time I thought I might have to live in the thing. I've had it hung on my patio for a couple years.. My kiddo has played in it.. But I'd never actually slept in it till Saturday night. How relaxing! Ok.. The storm, wind and rain helped. But so comfortable, with just a blanket and pillow! Absolutely dry with the rain fly. Bug free. I cannot wait to take it camping. After this, I'd never even consider a traditional tent. I grew up in Anchorage, AK. I can't wait to take this camping in Hope! If you are looking for a tent/hammock, I don't know how you could find a better product. - Stephen

Been using this hammock since it came out and haven’t turned back. Upgraded all my kids to this hammock as well.
United StatesUsed this baby in august for a week long backpacking trip, and it worked like a champ! We were above timberline though and it was pretty tight on the floor and kinda difficult to get in, but pretty lightweight and very water resistant!

I ordered the "hammock only" at 50% off a couple days ago and today I received a camping blanket. I'm sure there was a mix-up in the fulfillment due to Black Friday craziness, so I'm hoping they respond to my email and resolve the error satisfactorily. Shipping was fast though.
